Homerton Grove Adventure Playground, Wardle Street, London, E9 6BX; located opposite Homerton Hospital.
Homerton Grove Adventure Playground runs free after school and holiday play schemes for children and young people in Hackney.
Children and young people aged 6-15 years old can attend by themselves.
Under 6’s are welcome during the times specified below and must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
The playground is open all year round in all weathers. All welcome!
Opening Hours
All children/young people attending must have a completed HPA-Registration-Form-2024
Term time:
- Mondays – 3.30pm-6pm
- Tuesdays – 3.30pm – 6pm (Stay and Play family session – all ages welcome)
- Wednesdays – 3.30pm – 6pm
- Thursdays – 3.30pm – 6pm
- Fridays – 3.30pm – 6pm
- Saturdays 12pm-4pm
- 12pm-2pm (Stay and Play family session all ages welcome)
- 2pm-4pm (children/young people)
School holidays (FREE Holiday playschemes):
Monday – Friday -10.30am to 5.30 – (Children and Young People aged 6-16 years)
Fridays Only – 10.30am to 12pm (Stay and Play family session – all ages welcome and children under 6 must be supervised at all times by an accompanying adult)
No playscheme days on bank holidays

- Children aged 6 and over are welcome to come and play and, once registered and settled, can be left to play
- When children play they can get messy so please make sure they dress with this in mind.
- Personal items such as money, phones, etc. are brought on to the playground at your own risk.
- We reserve the right to exclude any child or adult acting in a manner that is harmful or abusive.
